ASID to progress Emerald Expositions partnership at Healthcare Design Expo in New Orleans, from November 2-5

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will explore the latest innovations in healthcare design at Healthcare Design Expo + Conference (HCD) 2019, November 2-5 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. As a leading healthcare design industry event, HCD showcases premier research, trends, and strategies within the industry – highlighting the impact of built environments on the safety, operation, clinical outcomes, and financial successes of healthcare facilities.

“Healthcare Design Expo + Conference brings the top insights, best design practices, and leading products for healthcare environments to thousands of attendees and industry leaders,” states Randy Fiser, Hon. FASID, CEO, ASID. “Throughout our presence at the show, we look forward to showcasing the future of the industry with attendees and discussing the multitude of ways that healthcare design impacts lives.”

ASID will exhibit a custom-built installation designed by Elizabeth von Lehe, Allied ASID, design and brand strategy principal, HDR, at Healthcare Design Expo + Conference. This innovative space provides attendees with a relaxing oasis throughout the show – offering opportunities to network with ASID members and other attendees, review healthcare trends and topics, and examine the thoughtful ways healthcare design directly impacts lives. ASID will also present the ASID DESIGN IMPACT Awards, a program dedicated to recognizing products that place health and the environment at the center of design intent. Winning products will be featured by exhibitors at HCD.

Healthcare Design Expo + Conference (HCD) registration is currently open, and ASID members may receive 15% off with promo code ASID15 . To register or learn more, visit asid.org/events/healthcare-design-expo-conference-3.

About ASID
The American Society of Interior Designers believes that design transforms lives. ASID serves the full range of the interior design profession and practice through the Society’s programs, networks, and advocacy. We thrive on the strength of cross-functional and interdisciplinary relationships among designers of all specialties, including workplace, healthcare, retail and hospitality, education, institutional, and residential. We lead interior designers in shared conversations around topics that matter: from evidence-based and human-centric design to social responsibility, well-being, and sustainability. We showcase the impact of design on the human experience and the value interior designers provide.

ASID was founded over 40 years ago when two organizations became one, but its legacy dates back to the early 1930s. As we celebrate nearly 85 years of industry leadership, we are leading the future of interior design, continuing to integrate the advantages of local connections with national reach, of small firms with big, and of the places we live with the places we work, play, and heal.
