The deadline for the submission for education proposals for Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, to be held November 20–22 in Atlanta, Georgia, is this coming Monday, January 14.

Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building, with three days of outstanding educational sessions, renowned speakers, green building tours, special seminars and networking events.

As a presenter, your education session can help illuminate the most in-demand aspects of sustainable design, construction and operations practices for buildings and communities—including their impact on people, the environment and the economy. Topics you can share with our attendees include dozens of critical issues, such as energy efficiency, net zero, human health and resilience planning.

To see details on priority topics, session styles, acceptance timelines, and so on, view the complete Call for Proposals. All proposals must be submitted through the online portal. You may begin the process and return to your saved proposal at any time up until the deadline.

Select the top proposals as a peer reviewer

In addition to presenters, Greenbuild is seeking peer reviewers to evaluate the education session proposals. Peer reviewers help maintain the outstanding reputation of Greenbuild by identifying exceptional and timely presentations. Basic requirements for reviewers include

  • Expertise in subjects covered by one or more program topic areas.
  • Previous experience reviewing proposals for related conferences or publications.
  • Commitment to complete review of all assigned proposals (typically 20–25) by February 5.

Reviewers who complete all assigned reviews will receive a $100 discount off a Greenbuild Full Conference pass. Reviewers from past years are also encouraged to apply.

For full details, view the complete Call for Reviewers. Applications must be submitted online by Fri., January 14, 2019 at 5 p.m. EST.
