A new report Friday from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) reveals the immediate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on architecture firms in the U.S. A recent AIA survey found that 50 percent of architecture firms reported fewer new design projects for March—as of the March 23 survey date—as compared to their expectations entering the month.

Jeffrey W. Coleman elected president of American Concrete Institute

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announces its 2020-2021 president, vice president, and four board members. Jeffrey W. Coleman has been elected to serve as president of the Institute for 2020-2021, Charles K. Nmai has been elected ACI vice president for a two-year term, and Cary S. Kopczynski is now the Institute’s senior vice president.

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) praises approval of the third economic relief package passed by the Senate last night, which will provide significant financial support to businesses and their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The House of Representatives is expected to pass the bill on Friday and President Trump has already said he will sign the legislation.
