Believed to be the largest living wall in the state of Hawaii, Anaha® at Ward Village boasts an immaculate living green wall brimming with a mix of approximately 8,000 tropical plants, including ferns, bromeliads, lawai, and syngonium. The captivating wall designed by First Look Exteriors in Hawaii spans from the exterior of the building stretching into the grand lobby and measures 80 feet wide by 15 feet tall at its largest portion.
Set to open in fall 2017, Anaha is the second tower nearing completion at Ward Village, a 60-acre urban master planned community that is transforming the urban core of Honolulu into a thriving mixed-use community with several exceptional residential towers woven together by a carefully curated mix of retail, entertainment and dynamic public open spaces.
Designed by Chicago-based Solomon Cordwell Buenz in collaboration with Ben Woo Architects, the 317-unit Anaha tower sets a new tone for the evolving architecture of Honolulu, offering a diverse range of sophisticated residences enhanced by resort-style amenities, including O‘ahu’s first Merriman’s restaurant on the ground floor.
Ward Village is Hawaii’s only LEED-ND Platinum-Certified project, and the largest neighborhood development in the country to receive such a prestigious certification. The community was recently named “Best On-the Boards Mixed Use Project” and “Best Community Site Plan” at the 54th Annual Gold Nugget Awards presented by PCBC, the largest annual homebuilding trade show in the Western United States.
