Hoefer Wysocki stated in an announcement today that as healthcare technology continues to evolve, it is transforming their approach to healthcare facility design. The impact that technology has on clinical workflow is greater than ever. To meet this demand, Hoefer Wysocki is bolstering its Clinical Technology Solutions team with clinical talent, bringing valuable perspectives from the front lines of healthcare to clients.
Hannah Mey, BSN, RN, has joined the team as Associate Vice President, Senior Technology Specialist. Leveraging her nursing education, caregiver experience, and expertise in applying technology to the healthcare environment, Hannah will be a vital connection between the clinician and the design team to integrate essential technology solutions into healthcare facilities across the U.S.
“I transitioned from bedside caregiver – and technology end-user – to a developer of the technology, and discovered my passion for supporting our healthcare professionals,” Hannah explains. “I consider myself a ‘healthcare provider’s nurse.’ I plan to bring the voice of clinicians to our clients to ensure that technology supplements care and fosters a positive healing environment. Integrating technology and patient care is an exciting opportunity for hospitals to elevate the quality of care and the patient experience.”
“Hannah will provide an enhanced understanding of how the use of technology can increase patient safety as well as clinical efficiency. We are fortunate to have her valuable clinical perspective on our team,” says Peter O’Connor, RCDD, EMT-B, Principal and Director of Clinical Technology Solutions
