Icynene innovates with Opteon™ 1100 foam blowing agent from Chemours

The Chemours Company announced that spray foam manufacturer, Icynene, is utilizing Opteon™ 1100 foam blowing agent for use in its high-performance spray foam insulation solutions. Icynene plans to use Opteon™ 1100, and add it to its portfolio of new polyurethane spray foam products that help deliver superior insulation performance with a lower global warming impact.

PPG reaches agreement with Vitro for sale of flat glass operations

PPG announced June 21 that it has reached a definitive agreement to sell the assets of its flat glass manufacturing and glass coatings operations to Vitro S.A.B. de C.V., a leading producer of flat glass and specialty products. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.
