Be Prepared to be Enlightened and Inspired!

Join Architecture 2030’s three experts for Carbon Smart Buildings Day at the Global Climate Action Summit this September 11th in San Francisco, CA. Edward Mazria will give an eye-opening keynote and call for action – be prepared to be enlightened and inspired! Vincent Martinez will be joining a panel exploring policy trends for decarbonizing new construction operations, including the ZERO Code, and Erin McDade will join a panel focusing on current embodied carbon policies and resources.

Architecture 2030 will also be releasing the much-anticipated Carbon Smart Materials Palette during this event. The Carbon Smart Materials Palette takes an attribute-based approach to embodied carbon reductions in the built environment. It identifies key attributes that contribute to the carbon impact of a material and offers material-specific and whole-building design guidelines and options that reduce emissions.

A rapid transformation of the built environment is the key to mitigating climate change. Carbon Smart Buildings Day will focus on actions that policymakers, firms, organizations, and individuals must take in order to lead a sector-wide transformation.

The Global Climate Action Summit brings together “the diverse threads of global movement” to solve the most pressing challenge of our time.  Join us to make the vision of a resilient, carbon-neutral built environment a reality.
