Linetec finishes Penn Family Medicine Center’s pyramid skylight manufactured by Super Sky

Designed by Array Architects, Penn Family Medicine Southern Chester County’s new 72,000-square-foot outpatient facility in West Grove, Pennsylvania, opened in 2015. The $28 million building highlights “ample natural light” among its amenities, which is made possible in part by its pyramid skylight. Super Sky Products Enterprises, LLC, manufactured the 23-by-23-foot skylight with aluminum framing finished by Linetec in a Silver Sunstorm color mica coating to ensure long-lasting performance.

University of Washington-Tacoma McDonald-Smith Building completes historical window replacement

Opened for the 2015-16 academic year, the University of Washington-Tacoma (UW Tacoma) completed its reconstruction and renovation of the 120-year-old McDonald-Smith Building located in the Union Station Historic District. Meeting the historic aesthetic and modern performance needs, Mission Glass installed more than 116 of Wausau Window and Wall Systems’ 4250i-XLT Invent Retro™ Series simulated double-hung, arched top, fixed windows.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia addition features Valspar’s Fluropon coatings

In July 2015, the Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care opened as the newest addition to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) campus, which serves more than 200,000 patients each year. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and FKP Architects, the 12-story, 700,000-square-foot ambulatory care center is the focus of the new South Campus. Its curving curtainwall systems feature Valspar’s high-performance Fluropon® coating systems in nine bold colors selected by the architects to give the exterior a vibrant, welcoming appearance.
