This growth comes just a few years after the company celebrated the opening of its new office and 163,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Goodyear AZ.
Manufacturing capacity in Mountain Top will grow from 10 bays to 16 bays – a 60% increase. The company recently announced a fifth shift at this factory to meet growing demand for its lineup of door products and closure solutions, along with increased hiring and job-growth initiatives. The expansion announcement comes on the heels of a major investment by Griffon Corporation (“Griffon”) (NYSE: GFF), owner of CornellCookson’s parent company Clopay Corporation (“Clopay”).
