Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) announced that Mike Dishmon has been appointed as commercial account manager for the Mid-Atlantic region.

Mike DishmonDishmon will provide sales and service coverage to the non-residential, commercial construction market for Vitro Architectural Glass. In this role, he will promote the use of VITRO CERTIFIED™ products in commercial buildings to architects, specification writers, glazing contractors and fabricators.

“Mike is a focused senior manager with an extensive background in the glass and glazing industry,” said Dan Stipetich, sales director, eastern region, Vitro Architectural Glass. “He brings more than 35 years of experience in the industry and a deep network of connections in the Mid-Atlantic region that will be invaluable in promoting use of Vitro products.”

Dishmon was most recently the vice president of sales and marketing for Virginia Glass Products. Prior to his work with Virginia Glass Products, he was with Vitro America from 1983 through 2011 in a variety of roles, from project manager to area manager. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Appalachian State University.
