New York – April 10, 2018 – DXA studio, a New York City-based architecture and design firm, has announced that they have been selected as the design architects for 269 4th Avenue in Park Slope, a new mixed-use development in one of Brooklyn’s most sought after areas.  The building is being developed by the innovative New York City development company, New Empire Corporation.

The 51,912 square foot, 12-story building will be located directly on 4th Avenue, between 1st Street and Garfield Place, a very desirable Park Slope location, and will contain 39 residential units as well as a ground floor commercial space.

“We are thrilled to be working on this project in such a wonderful New York City neighborhood.  In fact, it’s the neighborhood I’ve called home the past 14 years” said Jordan Rogove, co-founder of DXA studio.  “We look forward to the building becoming a new home for current neighborhood residents as well as New Yorkers who want to be a part of the Park Slope community.”

“New Empire Corporation is excited to be working with DXA studio to develop and construct what we believe will provide excellent new residential opportunities for New Yorkers attracted to the vibrant Park Slope Community,” said Bentley Zhao, President of New Empire Corporation.  “269 4th Avenue will attract a variety of new residents to Park Slope with the full range of housing options and amenities that the building will offer.”

Park Slope is one of Brooklyn’s most sought after residential areas, known for charming historic brownstones and quiet tree lined streets, and its proximity to Prospect Park.
