(Detroit, Mich. –August 3, 2017) – Hamilton Anderson Associates (HAA) announced today the addition of Renee Cruse as director of interiors. Cruse brings an extensive expertise in interior design to the firm with over 25 years of work experience in historic preservation, innovative office planning, hospitality and residential design. Cruse will oversee the variety of the firm’s current interior design projects across Detroit and will use her expertise to expand the firm’s presence in the interior design discipline.

Cruse has spent her entire career as the lead interior designer at the University of Michigan  where she served as the project manager for a number of projects including the North Quad, East Quad, College of Engineering Beyster Building, Munger Graduate Residences and the Ross School of Business’ executive residence. Additionally, she led projects in interior design for technology environments such as conference rooms, open collaboration and classrooms.

Cruse is a current member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and is a certified professional interior designer under the IIDA criteria, which required her to pass the National Council for Interior Designers Qualification (NCIDQ). She earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Eastern Michigan University.
