New educational and employment center welcomes community and opportunity with colorful façade

Opened on March 12, 2021, the new Elmer Buchta Entrepreneurship & Technology Center (EBETC) in Pike County, Indiana, revitalizes and supports the community’s educational and employment opportunities. Welcoming everyone to the EBETC’s modern business incubator, the cheerful multi-colored exterior designed by Hafer features a metal rainscreen wall panel system manufactured John W. McDougall Company Inc. Linetec finished the panels using four different colors: Bone White, Cityscape Gray, a darker Regal Blue and a lighter Siam Blue. All 629 panels were installed by Midwest Roofing-Sheet Metal in coordination with general contractor Jasper Lumber Co., Inc.

Jason Morrey joins Linetec as a safety manager. Reporting to Mike Schauls, vice president of operations, he will be responsible for developing and leading the company’s safety programs, injury prevention and compliance initiatives. “Linetec’s culture and core values put safety as our first priority,” said Mike Schauls, Linetec’s vice president of operations. “Each department and every person plays a role in supporting the safety of our associates.”

Macy’s New York historic façade refreshed with windows finished by Linetec

A refreshed, renovated, historic, four-story façade greets visitors to the redesigned and re-opened Macy’s department store at 422 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn, New York. The windows on the second, third and fourth floors were replaced to improve the exterior appearance of the ornate, cast-iron façade. In total, 63 aluminum-framed windows were supplied with panning by Winco Windows. All of Winco’s aluminum material was finished by Linetec in a Key Lime soft green color to complement the historic façade’s palette.

The new owners of Mountain View Corporate Center in California, Rockwood Capital, invested in updating three buildings from concrete exteriors to a modern copper-colored metal panel façade. Linetec finished more than 23,000 square feet of aluminum panels in its proprietary Copper Anodize. Along with the high-tech aesthetic, the durable anodize supports the property’s sustainability goals and protects the aluminum panels fabricated by Morin Corporation and installed by Sheet Metal Systems (SMS).

Wisconsin’s first Tommy’s Express Car Wash opened in Weston as part of a strategic, national expansion. Linetec supported this new locally owned business with brand-compliant, bright red, architectural finishes. “These 70% PVDF resin-based coatings are formulated and applied for premium durability in our Wisconsin climate. They stand up to snow, humidity, heat, road salt and more. They shield the aluminum against weathering, pollution and aging, as well intense UV radiation,” explained Linetec’s marketing manager Tammy Schroeder.
