LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct 15, 2018) – ULI Los Angeles, a District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), presents Transit Oriented Los Angeles 2018: Upward Mobility – Pathways to Inclusive Transit Neighborhoods. The annual, interactive event is Thursday, November 8, 7:30-noon at Japanese American National Museum, 100 N Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012-3911.

This year’s ToLA unveils exclusive research from the UCLA Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies on transit-oriented development and its impact on housing and neighborhood amenities. ToLA also presents transportation, planning and development leaders discussing how L.A.’s transit systems can be an equitable economic force.

“As the Los Angeles region grapples with housing affordability and other social crises, investing in transit oriented communities can be a powerful force for good,” said ULI Los Angeles ToLA Chair and LA Metro Deputy Executive Officer Nick Saponara. “The new UCLA research reveals the potential for more Angelenos living, working and playing in areas where they have mobility choices and a better quality of life. ToLA also presents local and national experts offering new tools for equitable development and community change.”
