With the introduction of new Calla® Health Zone™ ceilings, Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Solutions says it is making its smoothest line of mineral fiber panels available for healthcare, clean room, and food service applications.

In addition to a smooth, white visual, the company says Calla Health Zone panels are water-repellant and scrubbable, meeting USDA/FSIS guidelines for use in food processing, kitchens, and clean room assemblies. The panels exceed FGI Guidelines for acoustics and cleanability in general healthcare spaces and help address HIPPA requirements.

Total Noise Control and Floor Plan Versatility

Calla Health Zone panels feature Total Acoustics® performance, providing total noise control and floor plan versatility. With an NRC of 0.80 and a CAC of 38, Calla Health Zone offers an excellent combination of acoustical performance with exceptional noise blocking, according to Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Solutions. As part of the Sustain® portfolio, the panels meet the most stringent sustainability compliance standards today.

Calla Health Zone panels feature a clean, consistent finish and edge details and are available in both lay-in and square tegular designs. DESIGNFlex™ options include made-to-order sizes that are ready to ship in as little as three weeks.

The company says the panels are impact-resistant, scratch-resistant, and soil resistant, and are safe for use with disinfectants. They are a USDA-Certified 91% Biobased Product and have a 30-Year Limited System Warranty against visible sag, mold, mildew and bacterial growth. The panels can be recycled through the Armstrong Ceilings Recycling Program at the end of their service life.
