Francis Cauffman Architects (FCA), a full-service architecture and design firm based in Philadelphia and New York, has opened a new office in Orlando, Florida. This expansion will strengthen the firm’s presence in Florida, enhancing its ability to design and deliver local projects as well as helping to forge new relationships within the community. The news of the Orlando office comes amidst FCA’s exciting growth as a firm and its recognition in recent prestigious design leadership awards. The office opened in October.
“We are thrilled to be taking this big step into the future,” says John Campbell, President at FCA. “Opening the Orlando office and having a physical presence in this region will greatly enhance our opportunity to expand our reach and reputation.”
Located in one of the fastest growing regions in the United States, Orlando offers many opportunities for FCA, especially in the healthcare industry, where a host of the area’s health facilities are seeing investments that enhance the patient, visitor, staff and health system experience. Aran McCarthy, AIA, NCARB, will serve as a Healthcare Principal in charge of the Orlando operations—he will be supported by Paul Degillio, a Senior Project Manager at FCA, who was previously a principal for a Fort Myers-based architectural firm.
The firm currently has active corporate projects in Florida, which includes projects in Tampa, Miami and West Palm Beach — along with a new project in Puerto Rico, which will be overseen by the Orlando office.
