Kaiser Permanente’s ‘Health Hub’ design named a finalist in Fast Company’s 2016 Innovation Awards

Adaptive Reuse Award presented to ERDMAN for innovative urban clinic project

The Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo recently presented ERDMAN a Symposium Distinction Award in the Adaptive Reuse category. Each year the Symposium recognizes a project demonstrating exceptional creativity in successfully renovating and repurposing an existing space. This year’s award recognizes ERDMAN’s design and delivery of the Rush River North Health Center in downtown Chicago, a new branch location of Rush University Medical Center (UMC).

Delaware Valley Green Building Council announces 2016 Groundbreaker Organizational and Program Award winners

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) announced Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed and YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School are the recipients of  the Groundbreaker Organizational Awards and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) Project is the recipient of the Program Award. Winners of these awards will be recognized alongside three built project winners at DVGBC’s 2016 Groundbreaker Awards ceremony on September 29 from 6-9:30 p.m. at Cira Green (80 South 30th Street, Philadelphia).

University of Manchester National Graphene Institute wins RIBA National Award

The University of Manchester’s National Graphene Institute has won a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) National Award, the most rigorous and prestigious award for new buildings in the United Kingdom. This building is one of a series of successful collaborations between CH2M and UK architectural firm Jestico + Whiles. It is one of only 46 UK buildings recognized with a National Award.
