Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) announced last week that Mike Laraia has been appointed senior account manager for the company’s residential/specialty (RESP) glass business segment.

Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) announced last week that Mike Laraia has been appointed senior account manager for the company’s residential/specialty (RESP) glass business segment.Laraia has over 25 years of experience in multiple product segments, including mirror glass and coatings. He will use this experience to offer sales and support to residential and specialty customers in his region and connect window and door manufacturers and specialty glass fabricators with the best-performing glass products for their projects.

“Mike has demonstrated the ability to maintain great relationships with both current and prospective customers,” said Bradley P. Boone, director, residential/specialty glass business segment, Vitro Flat Glass LLC. “His skills in sales combined with his experience serving a wide range of major industries will offer exceptional value to the clients we serve in that region of the country.”

Laraia was most recently a division manager and national sales manager for Seymour of Sycamore, Inc., a manufacturer of spray paints and chemicals serving the automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. Prior to that position he spent 16 years as a National Sales Manager in the mirror and glass industry.  He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Orlando College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin.
