OZ Architecture, an award-winning, national architecture and design firm, was selected to design LIFT, the newest residential building envisioned by Replay Resorts at Park City Mountain’s Canyons Village. With a design that is both luxurious and intimate, the residences promise to redefine the experience of owning a mountain home. Thanks to its fresh new design, extensive amenities and prime location, LIFT will become the flagship residence at Canyons Village. The sophisticated, mountain-modern building will sit adjacent to the new Sunrise ski lift, making it one of the most sought-after ski-in/ski-out locations in the country.

OZ has designed LIFT to offer a unique collection of 61 one-to-five-bedroom, fully furnished contemporary residences and top-floor penthouses.

“In ski communities, residences are often built to appeal to the rental market, but LIFT was specifically designed to be a home for people who want to put down roots and create a lifetime of memories in Canyons Village,” said Rebecca Stone, Managing Principal at OZ Architecture. “The generous floor plans provide ample space for entertaining family and friends, the windows provide sweeping views and abundant sunlight, and the thoughtful interiors are painstakingly designed to reflect the comfortable sophistication LIFT owners embrace in their everyday lives.”

Through extensive use of glass and natural color palettes, OZ Architecture’s modern-mountain design fully embraces LIFT’s setting amid the natural surroundings of Park City Mountain. These spacious, turnkey homes have floor plans designed to maximize stunning mountain views from the living, dining and kitchen areas. Luxurious yet relaxed furnishings inspire socializing while each home’s central fireplace creates a sense of comfort and intimacy.

LIFT’s amenities include a year-round heated outdoor pool and two hot-tubs, a fitness center, kids’ club, lounge, and meeting room — all centrally located inside the building to maximize accessibility and provide owners with privacy and comfort. In addition to LIFT’s slopeside location and proximity to the area’s newest ski lift, the neighboring Canyons Village retail hub offers convenient access to shops, restaurants and après-ski venues.

With 7,300 acres of skiable terrain, Park City Mountain is the largest ski resort in the U.S. Working with Owner TCFC, Operator Vail Resorts, Developer Replay Resorts, and Landscape/Planner Langvardt Design Group, OZ Architecture has been collaborating on the Resort’s masterplan that will revitalize and energize Canyons Village. The Park City Mountain experience now starts at Canyons Village, and soon, the area will be a vibrant four-season center of recreation, celebration and imagination.

“OZ Architecture has established itself as the most talented and experienced team to take mountain communities to the next level, and that’s exactly what we’re doing at Canyons Village,” said Gary Raymond, managing director of Replay Resorts. “LIFT is the capstone project of the dramatic renaissance of Canyons Village and will quickly redefine the expectations and experience of those who want a personal and unique second home.”

Construction on LIFT is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2017 and is expected to be completed for the 2018-2019 ski season.

“As we move forward with the construction and execution of LIFT, our team is focused on collaborating with the contractors, craftsmen and operations teams Replay has assembled,” said Andy White, OZ Principal. “Our integrated approach to LIFT will ensure a seamless and positive experience for early buyers, visitors and owners.”
