Sto Corp., has announced that Randall Steven Johnson will join Sto Americas in the role of CFO effective August 5, replacing Torben Wetche, who announced his planned retirement earlier this year. Johnson will oversee all the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, as well as information technology, and will report to Jose Berlingeri, President and CEO, Sto Americas.

Prior to joining Sto Americas, Johnson served as CFO for PermianLide, an oil and gas service company. For the 25 years before that, he garnered experience in a variety of CFO or VP of Finance positions for private-equity-backed and publicly traded companies in North America. Johnson earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has completed level II of the Certified Financial Analyst program.

“We are very excited to have Randy join us,” said Berlingeri. “He has a long track record of fostering strategic growth at successful North American companies in related fields. He’s well positioned to build on the great work Torben has done.”

Torben Wetche, who has been CFO since 2014, will continue to have a role with Sto as a member of the Board of Directors for SkyRise Prefab, a Sto Panel Technology Affiliate that is partially owned by Sto. “Torben has contributed so much to Sto through the years,” said Berlingeri. “We’re pleased he will continue to be involved. “

Johnson lives with his wife in Atlanta, GA, and will be based at Sto’s Atlanta corporate headquarters.
