Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Chief Economist Anirban Basu, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Chief Economist Kermit Baker and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Chief Economist Robert Dietz will deliver a collaborative midyear economic forecast Monday, Aug. 15 at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

The forecast will provide a unique look at the economy by combining expert analysis of leading, present and backward-looking economic indicators in different sectors of the construction industry, including ABC’s Construction Backlog Indicator (CBI), AIA’s latest Architecture Billings Index (ABI) and Construction Consensus Forecast and the NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI). Each economist will discuss his outlook for the economy followed by questions from the media.
