WHAT: Rutgers University-Newark in New Jersey recently celebrated the opening of the new Life Sciences Center II. EarthCam is joining the celebration by sharing its latest time-lapse movie, highlighting construction for the new academic building from July 2015 to March 2018.
WHY: The $59 million, state-of-the-art, science facility was a project decades in the making. The new building serves as the hub to the science quad, a multi-building teaching and research complex for the life sciences studies. EarthCam’s time-lapse movie takes the 32-month project and condenses it down into just one minute, delivering a completely unique look at the construction process.
HOW: Watch the decades-in-the-making vision for the Life Sciences Center II come to life with EarthCam’s construction time-lapse movie. You can also see other construction projects EarthCam has documented for Rutgers University, including the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy on the University’s main campus.
