APA The Engineered Wood Association announced in January that the updated APA Engineered Wood Construction Guide, Form E30, is now available on APA’s website. First published in 1962, it has become the authoritative guide to building engineered wood floors, walls and roofs.

The 100-page guide features information on engineered wood products and recommendations for their use in a wide range of applications in residential and commercial construction. It includes illustrations and information on typical specifications for engineered wood products and design recommendations for floor, wall and roof systems, diaphragms, shear walls, fire-rated systems and finishing methods.
