KIRCO announces grand opening of the Global Dow Center and new H. H. Dow Visitors and Heritage Center

Elements of the Global Dow Center include: a six-story, 184,390 square-foot, steel-frame and curtain wall structure; 21,000-square-feet of vegetative rooftop and a nearly one-acre decorative pond wrapping one-third of the building, helping to dramatically reduce heat islands and storm water runoff; and an enclosed employee walkway connecting occupants to parking and other campus facilities.

KTGY-designed Elan Menlo Park Targets Silicon Valley’s “Creatives”

“The architectural style can best be described as contemporary and responds appropriately to the future context planned for the area. The project’s exterior material palette consists of stucco and cementitious siding with metal accent panels located in key areas. A mix of cool body tones and warm accent colors create a contrast between the building modulation and further breaks down the scale of the buildings. The project entry is emphasized with an enhanced architectural treatment at each corner. This treatment includes a corner patio/deck, enhanced glazing and prominent massing. J.E. Berkowitz fabricates glass for The Hepburn apartment tower

J.E. Berkowitz (JEB) announced the completion of The Hepburn, D.C.’s newest luxury apartment tower. Beyer Blinder Belle (BBB) Architects & Planners designed the 260,000-square-foot apartment building as a distinct, yet architecturally respectful addition to the existing hotel. The design team achieved that goal by incorporating a contemporary glass façade, according to Hany Hassan, BBB’s partner on the project.
