MGM National Harbor first integrated resort in D.C. to achieve LEED® Gold

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) announced Friday that the U.S. Green Building Council has awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design™ (LEED) Gold certification to MGM National Harbor, the company’s newest resort. Ecosystem and Rockland Community College collaborate to reduce energy bills by 44%

Rockland Community College is partnering with Ecosystem, a design-build engineering company, to perform a $11.1 million energy efficiency retrofit project on the 629,000-square-foot campus. The project will help the College save $558,000 annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 1,000 metric tons, equivalent to removing almost 400 cars from the road.
