Covestro to Host 2nd Annual THINC30 Summit

HDR is expanding its water resource services by acquiring the assets of Sacramento, California-based David Ford Consulting Engineers, which specializes in hydrology, water hydraulics and flood risk analysis, among other water-related services. Going forward, David Ford Consulting Engineers will do business as HDR | David Ford Consulting Engineers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Haskell President James O’Leary Appointed Chief Executive Officer

Haskell announced today that effective immediately James ‘Jim’ O’Leary has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) assuming full executive leadership responsibilities of the $1 billion firm. Last September O’Leary was appointed President of Haskell. He will now hold both titles succeeding Steve Halverson, who had held the positions for the past 19 years. The absence of load-bearing pillars and the presence of a peripheral green wall enhance this cocoon-like atmosphere. The architecture will blend in with the scenery: the building is set partially in the ground, thus seemingly lowering its height and impact. Tropicalia will appear to rise like a small hill within the landscape.
