Wausau supports continuous growth with remote engineering office

Expanding its engineering capacity and capabilities, Wausau Window and Wall Systems opened a remote office in Oct. 2016 to support its continuous growth. Currently, six of Wausau’s engineering associates have their primary workspace in Minneapolis. This team includes two structural engineers and three design engineers, plus engineering manager Susana Rivera. She hopes to add at least four more associates to the team.

The Marvin Family of Brands invites architects in the U.S., Canada, Japan and Israel to submit their work to the annual Marvin Architects Challenge, which honors outstanding residential and commercial design projects that demonstrate creativity and ingenuity. This year for the first time, the competition has been expanded to include projects that use Integrity Windows and Doors products in combination with Marvin products or alone. The company is also expanding the number of categories eligible for prizes. A Hathaway Dinwiddie and AECOM joint venture has been selected by the University of Southern California (USC) to manage the renovation of the renowned Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Construction is now underway at the historic sports facility, which was formally commemorated with a groundbreaking ceremony on January 29. The Coliseum, located in Exposition Park adjacent to the university’s campus, has been the home field for USC Trojans football since its opening in 1923.
