Serving about 800 students each day, the new school was designed by Molina Walker Almaguer Architects, Inc. (MWA Architects), a Houston-based firm and one of the region’s leading designers of educational facilities. BEHR® interior paint ranks No. 1 in customer satisfaction, according to J.D. Power 2019 Paint Satisfaction Study

Behr led all interior paint brands in three key factors of satisfaction: durability, in-store color displays and printed materials, and warranty/guarantee. The 2019 Paint Satisfaction Study was fielded in January of 2019 and is based on responses from 2,995 customers who purchased interior paint within the previous 12 months. In the study, BEHR interior paints received a score of 852 on a 1,000-point scale, as well as a J.D. Power.com Power Circle Rating™ of 5, the highest rating, indicating it is ranked “Among the best” by study participants.

ASID honors top student designers with the 2019 Student Portfolio Competition

The American Society of Interior Designers (​ASID) named the winners of the ​ASID Student Portfolio Competition as part of its ​SCALE National Student Summit held in New York earlier last month. Sponsored by Benjamin Moore, the competition generates the best collection of student design projects in the nation and selects winners and finalists based on conceptual thought, content and quality of submitted work, and the student’s ability to articulate their process. With over 230 engaged students in 2019, the jury selected 12 finalists and five winners.
