TRIA to design new Dementia Discovery Center for Eisai Inc.

The new facility designed by TRIA will feature an open office plan and adjacent open laboratory for Eisai’s neuroscience R&D team of over 100 employees, which is set around a central collaboration meeting space dubbed “The Brain.” The site’s open labs are designed to allow multi-disciplinary scientists (including wet-lab chemistry, biology and automation) to work together in a single, accessible and shared lab space.

Brammer engaged DPS Group to provide process architecture and engineering services for the design of commercial suites that produce multiple gene transfer vector products in support of late-stage clinical programs leading to commercial supply. DPS Group’s design affiliate TRIA is designing a 15,000 SF office space as the second phase of the Lexington facility.

DPS Group, a privately-owned, global engineering company, and Hodess Cleanroom Construction, a comprehensive cleanroom construction company, today announced that they have completed a proprietary cell therapy manufacturing facility for Mustang Bio, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. Mustang Bio engaged Hodess as prime consultant on the design/build project, and Hodess selected DPS Group for its depth of experience designing current cGMP manufacturing facilities. DPS Group’s Boston office provided architectural and engineering services for the new facility.
