Recently certified LEED v4 Platinum, Stockman Bank Missoula Downtown is the most energy-efficient building in Stockman Bank’s portfolio. In addition to featuring high-performance glass and efficient lighting, energy-efficient elevators, and solar arrays, the facility achieves nearly a 70% reduction in water consumption thanks to an innovative on-site rainwater storage system providing 100% of average annual water use for toilet and urinal flushing.

Stockman Bank opened its location in historic downtown Missoula. The project is a 67,753 sq. ft., six-story bank with a two-story parking garage with space for 137 vehicles. The top three building levels include outdoor terraces, topped by a sixth-floor roof garden featuring greenery and trees. The rooftop is used for meetings, entertaining, and community activities, and features expansive views of Missoula and surrounding valleys.

Stockman Bank’s Missoula tower achieved LEED v4 Platinum status. Sustainability measures for the low energy-use per square foot building (modeled with an EUI of 23) include 69% potable water reduction by harvesting rainwater for toilets and stormwater for irrigation, an open-loop ground source heat pump system, chilled beams, and a 48.75 kW photovoltaic array. To encourage environmentally-friendly commuting, the design also includes covered bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging stations.
