Kansas City, MO – March 19, 2019 – Hoefer Wysocki, an interdisciplinary architecture, planning, design and clinical technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce seven promotions in its Dallas and Kansas City offices.
In the Dallas office, Marty McIntire, director of Clinical Technology Solutions, has been named principal; and Peter O’Connor, RCDD, EMT-B, director of technology design, has been promoted to associate principal; Christy Murphy, AIA, LEED AP, BD+C, senior project manager, has been promoted to vice president. In the Kansas City office, Michael Goslinga, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, was named principal; Patrick McCurdy, AIA, NCARB, healthcare practice leader, was named associate principal; David Mendez, business development, was promoted to vice president; and Michael Moser, AIA, LEED AP, healthcare planner, now serves as vice president.

Dallas
Marty McIntire has been elevated to principal. McIntire, director of the firm’s Clinical Technology Solutions (CTS) team, has more than 25 years of global experience focused on integrating medical equipment planning and architectural design with IT design and management solutions. As one of the driving forces behind this specialized team, which seamlessly integrates architectural and interior designers and planners with IT engineers, his efforts have contributed to the accelerated growth of the CTS team. He is a respected global thought leader on the topic of clinical technology strategy, working with leading healthcare institutions to design, specify and implement sophisticated medical technology solutions.
Peter O’Connor has been promoted to an associate principal, director of technology design for the firm. Peter has worked with clients across the U.S., positioning the firm as a true leader in the CTS space. With more than 25 years of clinical IT experience, he is known for anticipating implementation-related challenges and planning for technology that doesn’t yet exist. As a global thought leader on the topic of clinical technology strategy, interoperability and implementation, he is a frequent speaker at national industry conferences. He is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B).
Christy Murphy brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as vice president and senior project manager. She is known for consistently delivering performance-driven results to her clients. Since joining Hoefer Wysocki, she has been involved in several large-scale healthcare projects that integrate evidence-based design. Her current projects include a 292-bed patient tower expansion with two new parking garages in Dallas, various renovations at Medical City Dallas, and a lab expansion in Plano.
Kansas City
As a principal, Michael Goslinga will continue to lead the design of the firm’s next-generation, multidisciplinary projects with a focus on healthcare, corporate headquarters, and mixed-use facilities. Throughout his tenure at Hoefer Wysocki, he has been directly involved in the design of projects across all sectors, leading teams to deliver exemplary results and continually raising the standard of excellence in performance-driven design.
Associate Principal Patrick McCurdy leads the firm’s Kansas City healthcare practice. Throughout his 30 years of experience, McCurdy has continually anticipated shifts in healthcare technology and policy, ensuring the design is responsive and adaptive to ongoing advancements. McCurdy will continue to drive his dynamic approach of adapting long-established design principles to work cohesively alongside emerging medical technologies.
Michael Moser, vice president and healthcare planner, is a trusted leader in healthcare planning strategy. A hallmark of his approach is thoughtfully balancing provider requirements, financial goals and flexibility with patient experience and quality of care.
David Mendez has been promoted to vice president, business development. With more than 10 years of experience in the architecture and planning industry, he is a passionate ambassador of the firm and considered a trusted advocate for clients in the healthcare and civic sectors.
