Johns Manville (JM), a global building and specialty products manufacturer and a Berkshire Hathaway company, announced a new role focusing on the building constructor segment. The strategic move to expand the JM Roofing Systems Owner Services Team will engage design-build, construction management, general contracting and other commercial construction entities.
Doug Schanz recently joined JM Roofing Systems as national account manager responsible for these building constructor services. He is responsible for collaborating and servicing the constructor channel during all phases of project design, construction and occupancy.
Prior to joining JM, Schanz held a number of marketing and management roles within the construction management and commercial building product arenas. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Adams State University and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Schanz holds a Register Roof Observer (RRO) designation and is a member of many professional organizations including ASHE, DBIA, NAIOP and RCI.
“We are thrilled to welcome Doug to our team,” said Brad Burdic, Preferred Accounts Leader at JM. “With over two decades of industry experience, this seasoned professional has the background and ability to effectively bridge the gap between the Constructor Channel and Owners for a successful project outcome.”
