Soaring 34-stories, 1WSQ will bring 500,000-square-feet of space to the Brooklyn office market. Architecture, interiors and planning firm, FXCollaborative designed the interior spaces to cater to all future tenants. Each floor plan has a fluid connection to the outside with oversized windows, highlighting natural light and column-free floor plans which further supports space efficiency. Leeza SOHO opens with the world’s tallest atrium

Straddling an underground subway service tunnel, Zaha Hadid Architects-designed Leeza SOHO tower divides its volume into two halves enclosed by a single facade shell. The emerging space between these two halves extends the full height of the tower, creating the world’s tallest atrium at 194.15 m which rotates through the building as the tower rises to realign the upper floors with Lize road to the north.

KAI Build and joint venture partner PARIC Corporation broke ground on Oct. 24 to start construction of Ameren Missouri’s new North Metro Operating Center at 4427 Geraldine Avenue. The $21 million facility will replace the adjacent Geraldine Operating Center which has employed hundreds of Ameren employees and provided electric operations to North St. Louis for over 60 years.
