Don’t miss this informative and entertaining educational seminar on flooring failures at the World of Concrete and The International Surfaces Event
After an introduction to the nature of moisture-related flooring problems, attendees will watch and listen to what goes on when a moisture-related floor covering problem ends up in court. Attendees will observe a theatrical courtroom experience where the factors leading up to a flooring failure will be presented and argued. Issues such as the sources of moisture, moisture movement and the adverse effects of moisture on flooring installations will all be presented to help the jury decide who is responsible for the problem. Closing remarks will include the 10 Steps to avoiding moisture-related flooring failure.
1. Discover causes of moisture-related flooring problems
2. Determine who is responsible for preventing a slab moisture problem
3. Examine how slab curling is a two-faced problem
4. Give examples on how to properly test moisture in a concrete floor slab
